Whilst the registration service is currently required to complete the legal formalities of your marriage, this doesn't mean that you have to choose them to conduct your oh so special wedding ceremony!
A bespoke celebration ceremony created by Perfect Moment Ceremonies gives you the flexibility and freedom of choice with content and location that you would not necessarily get with a conventional ceremony.
By working closely with you, I discover what makes your story unique, such as details about how you met, your first impressions of each other, your love story, what makes you a great couple, and your dreams for the future. During this time, we really get to know each other and many couples tell me that they find this special time most enjoyable. I then discover more about your choice of content, such as readings, poems, songs, family traditions, and favourite music, plus the words you would like to use for your vows or promises, and so on.

Then the magic happens - I weave everything together to include your personal beliefs and any cultural elements or unique sentiments to create a ceremony that truly reflects all those taking part. By working together, we create your ‘perfect moment’ and some truly wonderful memories to treasure forever.
Your ceremony can be held in your choice of location, which doesn’t have to be a licenced venue, so if you have somewhere that is particularly meaningful for you, your ceremony can take place there!
You may be worried that without the ‘legal bit’, your ceremony won’t feel as special. However, as we work together, you will soon realise that your personalised, celebrant-led ceremony is everything you could hope for on your wedding day and of course, much more! Following your special day, as a unique keepsake, I will create a beautiful souvenir script for you to treasure forever.

​What about the ‘legal bit’?
The legal formalities can be completed at a Register Office in a simple weekday ceremony. Generally, only the legal wording and paperwork is required, which is similar to the continental marriage process. I will of course, be happy to guide you through the process of completing the legal formalities, if required.
