Meet Edwina
So, why did I decide to become a celebrant?
Well, it’s because I love working with people and helping to make their dream celebrations a reality.
Having enjoyed a varied career in direct sales, social care and hospitality, and gaining a wealth of experience throughout this time, I knew that the thing I loved doing most was organising and coordinating weddings and celebrations, so training to become a celebrant was the realisation of a dream for me! I am also lucky enough to be a trained Counsellor and I really do use these skills in my everyday life. I believe that they assist me in working closely with couples and families to gain a real understanding of their hopes and wishes for a truly unique and personal ceremony.

about creating ceremonies which leave beautiful memories to treasure and feelings of love, warmth and connection which last a lifetime.
I am thrilled to have received many wonderful testimonials from the couples and families I have worked with, telling me that because of the great relationship we have developed and the care and attention they have received, they will remember their special day or celebration forever.
Those who know me describe me as “warm, friendly, caring, funny, positive, enthusiastic, creative, patient, professional” - and someone with a great sense of humour!
I love music, dancing, going to live gigs (especially ‘smooth jazz’ gigs), and I have a real passion for nice clothes and shoes! (No room left in my wardrobe!) I honestly love life in general and try to make the most of every moment.
I live with my partner in lovely rural South Norfolk, but love to travel, so enjoy doing ceremonies far and wide! I have one daughter and gorgeous twin grandsons, who are the joy of my life!

Why did I choose to call my business
Perfect Moment Ceremonies?
Here’s why this name means so much to me:
I would like to thank my friend and favourite smooth jazz guitarist, Peter White, for inspiring my business name Perfect Moment Ceremonies. At one of Peter White’s concerts in the USA, a fan asked Peter whether he could come up on stage to propose to his girlfriend. Peter agreed and later asked the fan why he had chosen to do this now? The fan replied, “well, it just seemed like the perfect moment”. Peter then wrote a song entitled ‘Perfect Moment’, which has since become an anthem for his fans and is one of my favourite tracks.
